Harshika Ramsubramanian is a Counselling Psychologist, Expressive Arts Facilitator, and Parenting Coach. She has completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology and certification in Expressive Arts Therapy. She is at present going through training to become a Queer Affirmative Counselling Practitioner. She has been practicing since 2015 and works with children and adults to help them on their healing journey through various difficult emotions, situations, and behavioral patterns.
Harshika specializes in the therapy techniques of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Expressive Arts, and Solution Focused Brief. Her work revolves around relationships, stress and anxiety, body image concerns, self-esteem/self-confidence, social anxiety/concerns, concerns with family dynamics and relationships for adolescents and adults; behavior/emotional/social concerns in children as well as parenting concerns.
She has been published in newspapers and magazines for her work on body positivity, relationships, and boundaries. She has conducted corporate workshops and been a speaker on social media platforms to talk about mental health and related topics. She communicates in Hindi, English, and Tamil.
