Deepali Salil is Dance Movement Therapy Practitioner and a UNESCO CID - Paris certified therapeutic movement facilitator. She has been working since 2018 and has worked with different kinds of population over her years of experience. She primarily focuses on providing the clients a safe space to explore and understand their feelings, and building resources for her clients to feel empowered.
Deepali Salil bases her work primarily using the medium of movement and body. She supports this work through artwork. Through this process, she has worked with kids with special needs and also worked in collaboration with the University of Oxford, London, in Kerala for adolescents and teenagers. Working with clients who feels anxious, depressed, low on confidence and self-esteem, body image, emotional awareness and expression are the few key areas that she has worked with in the past year. Being a professional Bharatanatyam dancer, she has now developed a module that specifically focuses on mental health for Indian Classical Dancers.
